BY CAR

From Vancouver International Airport

  1. Head west on Grant McConachie Way.
  2. Make a slight right at SW Marine Dr and continue on Granville St.
  3. Once you come into the city over the Granville Street Bridge, take the Seymour Street exit off the bridge.
  4. Follow Seymour Street and you will come to West Georgia Street.
  5. Turn left on West Georgia St, then turn right at Burrard St.
  6. The Vancouver Convention Centre is straight ahead at 1055 Canada Place.

From Highway 1

  1. Head northwest on HWY-1 W toward Exit 73.
  2. Take exit 27 for First Ave.
  3. Turn left at E 1st Ave, and stay on it until you get to Nanaimo St, then turn right.
  4. Stay on Nanaimo St. until you reach E Hastings then turn left.
  5. Stay on E Hastings until you reach Seymour St then turn right.
  6. Stay on Seymour St. until you reach W Cordova St.
  7. Turn left on W Cordova St until you reach Howe St then take the 2nd right.
  8. Howe St turns left and becomes Canada Place.
  9. The Vancouver Convention Centre is straight ahead at 1055 Canada Place.

From Highway 99/US Canada Border

  1. Head south on Howe St toward Granville St.
  2. Make a slight right at Granville St.
  3. Stay on Granville then make a slight right toward W 4th Ave (signs for Fir St/W 4th Ave).
  4. Once on W 4th Ave, make a slight right and stay on it until you hit Burrard St.
  5. Turn right at Burrard St.
  6. The Vancouver Convention Centre is straight ahead at 1055 Canada Place.

PARKING

Parking is available at each of the three Canadian Gaming Summit hotels. Please refer to the Summit website’s Hotel page for the various parking rates.

Parking is also available at the Vancouver Convention Centre East, 999 Canada Place

VINCI Park

  • Enter at the foot of Howe Street, obtain ticket from dispenser and proceed to P1 or P2.
  • Use Convention Centre/Hotel elevators (not World Trade Centre elevators).
  • For Convention Level: press "G" for Registration, Ballrooms and Exhibits.
  • For Meeting Rooms: press "M".

BY TRAIN

TransLink provides city transit for tourists and residents seven days a week via buses through its rapid transit system, SkyTrain. With the opening of the Canada Line, the Skytrain's newest line, travel between the Waterfront Station and Vancouver International Airport has been significantly reduced to 26 minutes per one-way trip. This allows for a more convenient trip for travelers to and from downtown Vancouver.

Public Transit from Vancouver International Airport

  1. Board Train - 980 - Canada Line Skytrain at the platform sign "CANADA LINE TO WATERFRONT". The trip is approximately 30 mins.
  2. Disembark at Waterfront Station Northbound.
  3. Head northwest on W Hastings St toward Howe St.
  4. Turn right at Burrard St.
  5. The Vancouver Convention Centre is straight ahead at 1055 Canada Place.

Taxis

Licensed taxis are available outside the Domestic and International terminal on Arrivals Level 2. Walk outside the building and look for the taxi stand. Attendants are there to assist. Taxis are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance. The approximate fare to downtown Vancouver is between $28 - $32 (taxes included).

No reservations are required from the airport. Reservations are required 12 hours in advance for all service from hotels in Downtown Vancouver.
