The 3rd Annual First Nation Canadian Gaming Awards were presented at the Summit’s Canadian Gaming Industry Awards Gala. The First Nation Canadian Gaming Awards recognize the contributions of the First Nation casinos to the First Nations and their neighbouring communities. These awards honour the accomplishments and contributions of people working within the industry and the continued development and improvements within the operations.

2012 GALA CHARITY – UNITED WAY OF NIAGARA FALLS AND GREATER FORT ERIE

The 2012 Canadian Gaming Industry Awards Reception and Charity Gala benefited The United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie.

United Way is a worldwide movement that engages people in many ways to improve communities. In Canada there are 115 local United Ways, raising close to $500 million annually. In 2012, the United Way of Niagara Falls and Greater Fort Erie will invest approximately $790,000 in agencies that provide basic needs, like food and shelter, as well as programs supporting children and seniors at risk, people affected by a disability, newcomers and people facing literacy issues. One in three people will access these United Way funded services.
