The 2008 Canadian Gaming Summit Awards Reception and Charity Gala will benefit the Quebec Cancer Foundation.

The Mission of the Quebec Cancer Foundation is to “Improve the quality of life of people with cancer and their loved ones through lodging, information and support services.”

For close to thirty years, these services have made the Foundation an indispensable resource in raising cancer awareness and combating the disease.

Firmly rooted in Quebec’s social fabric and medical community, the Foundation distinguishes itself by promoting the belief that improved quality of life, during and after cancer, helps fight the disease.

The Quebec Cancer Foundation’s services focus on the individual, because they believe that much can be done to help people cope with cancer.

What Are The Award Categories?

Up to three awards for long-term Industry Leadership and Outstanding Contribution together with an award for exemplary Volunteerism and Community Service by an individual or organization will be presented at the Canadian Gaming Summit Awards Reception and Charity Gala on May 1, 2008.

Who Can Be Nominated?

Nominees may be from any and all aspects of the industry, including:

• Public Sector (lottery & gaming, regulators, politicians, government, etc.)
• Private Sector (operators, manufacturers, suppliers, financial, advisory, etc.)
• First Nations
• Charitable Gaming (volunteers, operators, suppliers, advisory, etc.).
