The 2007 Canadian Gaming Summit attracted a record attendance of gaming professionals from across North America. Each year the event continues to develop and gain momentum as the industry in Canada builds and extends its reach across the country. The conference program provided an educational platform offering an interactive setting to learn the latest trends in several gaming industry sectors. Topics evolve each year to reflect the hottest sectors in the gaming industry including legislative updates, management trends, and new technology innovations.
The delegates and exhibitors enjoyed the outstanding networking opportunities at the Welcome reception, held at the Hockey Hall of Fame and the new format of the Industry Awards Gala at the Royal York Hotel. This year the Gala becoming a fundraising event with Variety – the Children’s Charity selected as our beneficiary for 2007. Variety is recognized around the world as a leader in helping young children overcome disabilities and other barriers. Variety provides integrated sports and life skills programs to develop children and strengthen communities. We were pleased to present Variety – the Children’s Charity with a cheque for $10K. Martin Short was our special guest who entertained all at the inaugurate Canadian Gaming Awards Benefit Gala.
