Join the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association as it hosts the ninth annual charitable gaming conference. Like last years event, it will be held in conjunction with the Canadian Gaming Summit. This event focuses exclusively on the charitable gaming across Canada. This is the only event in Canada that allows all the charitable gaming industry – regulators, operators, and charities - to come together and discuss what is happening across the Charitable Gaming Industry in Canada.

Progressive Link Bingo – the Quebec Experience (English)
The Société des bingos du Québec (SBQ), a subsidiary of Loto-Québec, celebrated its 10th anniversary in December 2007. Over a 10-year period, a $100 million has been handed over to hundreds of NPO bingo licence owners. Despite of the attendance decrease in Quebec, the link bingo is increasing. How do we explain this success?

Effective customer service is an integral part of a successful business and differentiates it from other businesses. In the bingo industry, customer service has not always been a focus. With the launch of the revitalization of bingo in Ontario, there has been a focus on customer service training particularly with charitable organizations. Nova Scotia: Community Casino Nights
Lights, Camera, Auction! Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation is helping a variety of charities across Nova Scotia to improve their charitable fundraising efforts. Specifically, Nova Scotia Gaming Corporation’s Community Casino Nights initiative provides groups with expertise, networking opportunities and in-kind support to help them with their Monte Carlo fundraisers (a licensed form of charitable gaming which includes play money, games of chance and usually an auction). Learn about NSGC’s Charitable Sector Support Program and its success to date.

With the introduction of seal cards and bingo event tickets in bingo halls, there has been extensive growth in this sector of the Ontario marketplace. With the planned introduction of seal cards, further growth is anticipated. Both Ontario and Texas have seen impressive results.
