The Innovation Stage hosted a series of 15-minute presentations from up-and-coming tech companies who have developed products for the gaming industry. Presentations were scheduled during the lunch and afternoon breaks to ensure delegates could attend.

Playsafe.chat is powered by IBM Watson and its artificial intelligence capability helps users find help in seconds. Playsafe.chat is different because we can provide immediate trusted information about safer play and put the information in the mobile phones of teenagers, Millennials, and adults. This allows them to obtain the information they need to make informed decisions privately with inclusion and accessibility. Playsafe.chat focuses on key concepts related to safer and smarter play such as understanding problem gambling, gambling addiction, detecting warning signs, getting assistance and self-exclusion.
Playsafe.chat is designed, coded and created by university students and recent university graduates who have an in-depth knowledge of modern gaming activities including online gaming, esports, loot boxes, skin betting and more traditional sports betting and casino gaming, as well as knowledge of problem gambling.
